Picking Up Speed

Hello everyone. Just stopped in to tell you whats going on. Tonight I got 4 more items on my Web site. I have 7 items total listed. I'm getting faster & pushing on. Next week there will be more. Stay tuned!

The start of something NEW!

I got on Etsy tonight! Praise the Lord, I'm on Etsy finally. I'ts been a long time coming but I'm not finished yet. Long Long road ahead of me, but this is only the beginning. It took 2 nights to get only 1 item done. Go check it out.

Wings of Gold

Me again:

My son came to dinner last night. He asked me, "Mom, do you have the stones that look like gold with sparkles in them?" I said I did. He said, "Could you make a necklace and earrings for my girlfriend out of this stone?" I said I'd be glad to.

He sat down with me, and we picked out the shape of the stones. I came up with this necklace and earrings to match. I planned it and laid it out last night, and I made it today. Click on the picture for a better look!

He said she likes butterflies, so I put everything together and I came up with this beauty. It's made out of sterling silver and goldstone: puffed squares, puffed ovals, leaves, and a butterfly.

Weekend Happy Days

I had the Best Birthday & Mother's Day I could ever want. My children came Saturday night about 7:30. We played cards & had alot of fun. Sunday, Mother's Day I made breakfast for everyone & then went to church. 3 of my children, my future Daughter-in-law, & 5 of my grandchildren went to church with me. I have 4 children & 7 grandchildren. I was the happiest Mom & Grandma in the world. My Paster said you should see your face & cried with Joy.

Black Knight

Here is one of my favorite finds. As soon as I saw the black square, I had to have it. I knew it would make a great piece. What do you think?

This is made from black sardonyx and sterling silver. I usually make sets that go together when I make something, so there are earrings and a bracelet to go with.

Bead Show

It's me again. I want to tell you about the Bead Show , my friend Juliana & I went to. There are lots of people who come to these Shows. You can buy Wholesale beads, crystals, coral, pearls, abalone, hematite, pendants of all kinds, Sterling silver, Goldfill, Semi-Presious Stones, Presious Stones, Findings & Watch Heads. Made Jewelry, chains, copper, fossils, cloisonne. I go on Sunday instead of Monday because you get first Choise of all the beautiful Beads. Monday are all left overs. It opens at 11:00 & we were done at 1:30 with all of our choices. We were there at 10:00 & 1st in line.

I can't wait to show all of my work and what I can do. My Etsy site is almost ready, and as soon as we finish working on the pictures, we will be up and running! It's been a long journey...over a year already since we first thought of this.
